Skiddaw u3a is a lively organisation for people who are no longer in full-time employment and still want to keep mind and body active.

Local activities, lovely welcoming people to meet, members learn from each other, everyone is able to contribute their own particular skills, passion, knowledge, expertise and experience.

Members can join over fifty Interest Groups (from geopolitics to German, from pottery to pickleball, from circle dancing to cycling) - see full list on Skiddaw u3a website.

There are nine Monthly Meetings featuring great guest speakers, which are held on the third Wednesday of the month (apart from in August, October and December).

Doors are open at 10.00 am, when refreshments will be served and there is an opportunity to socialise. The meetings begin at 10.30 am and end at 12 noon, unless otherwise stated. The cost is £1.00 for members and £1.50 for visitors.
