"Because life is for living!" Amy's Care specialised in providing daycare/social clubs for older adults in and around Keswick, facilitating a stimulating and engaging environment to promote inclusion and fulfilment, particularly for those those needing and providing care - it was inspired by Fraser Dooley's Grandma Amy.

For now, we are running two main activities:

a) fabulous trishaw bikes - available to take anyone that wants to go for a ride out in Keswick! Our volunteers will gently sweep you around so you can feel the wind in your hair. These rides are free, delivered by trained volunteers and are aimed taking those who can’t ride a bike themselves out and about to enjoy fresh air and scenery. These rides are for any age including young families and wheelchair users. The rides can be around Fitz park and by the river, on the scenic “K2T” railway line or around the town to the lake - the whole family could join in!

b) We hire out our 12 seater wheelchair-accessible minibus. It is aimed at community groups, care homes, education and aided by Amy’s Care volunteer drivers.
