The Friday Club is a volunteer-run social group providing a safe and welcoming space for residents aged 60 and over from Keswick CA12 and surrounding villages.

The club offers friendship, support, and companionship for older residents, people with dementia, and their families.

Friday Club members can enjoy tea or coffee, homemade cake, and a friendly chat, alongside activities such as crafts, films, quizzes, games and gentle exercise.

A programme of special events and outings are also organised throughout the year.

Volunteers provide a listening ear, practical advice, and a warm, welcoming environment - helping to combat loneliness and build a strong sense of community belonging.

The group is always keen to welcome new participants to our friendly sessions. We also invite
new volunteers who would like to make a positive difference in the local community - no experience needed, just kindness and enthusiasm.

We meet every Friday from 1:00 - 3:00 PM.

There is a small charge of £2 for attendance and refreshments.
